Marc got creative with the pumpkins this year!

We had a great time this past Halloween season!  Lucy wanted to be a "Pink Kitten". She was not a cat, or kitty, but a Pink Kitten. Jake just loves monkeys, and saying "oohh-oohh ahh-ahh", so he was a monkey! We went on a pumpkin patch trip with Lucy's preschool, and also with Rose and Robin. The one we vistited with Rose and Robin was great!  The pumpkins are grown right there (believe it or not, not all pumpkin "patches" grow their own pumpkins!) and there was a horse drawn carriage that takes you out to the field. It was really fun, beautiful and idyllic. It was also pretty mellow, with just the right amount of people. The kids had fun tromping through the muddy fields picking out pumpkins.  Marc got really into the carving this year and carved all of our pumpkins. On Halloween night we had Rose and Robin, Evan and Sean over for Trick or Treating. Auntie Katie and GrandPappy came too.  It is so much fun seeing how excited the kids are. We all got dressed up! Lucy and Evan raced from house to house, and Jake figured out pretty quick that something great was being given to him in his bag.  Eventually he tired out and climbed into his stroller, but not before insisting that I open one of his treats. He sure enjoyed it! Lots of great memories. Lucy already wants to be "Stella's old cat Blackie" for Halloween next year...we will see if she keeps this wish! She just loves cats!!
