Well, here it is September already! Last weekend we went for our last camp trip of the summer, to a lake in Washington. It was a fun trip, although we did get some rain. Back to the reality of Northwest weather! We stayed dry, and Lucy had fun. She loves the tent, and she did well on the boat ride that she took. Marc caught a few Rainbow Trout, which were yummy. Even Lucy enjoyed some. She is starting to take her first beginning "forward" crawls, now. She puts one arm out in front, and then the other, and then she either pushes back up to sitting, or she ends up on her tummy. I know soon that she will figure out how to keep putting one arm in front of the other, keeping up on her knees, and off she will go! She is still super social, and smiles at most people. Yesterday she finished her swim class, and for the final activity, I took her down the big slide, two stories up, which curves around and around. Don't worry, she was safe, and the teacher was at the bottom in case we needed help. It was fun, but it definitely felt faster than it looks. Lucy just had a look on her face afterward like, "what was that?" Lucy did great in swim class! Thanks for checking in! Love, Koree
